Gamescom 2025

Am 20. August ist es wieder soweit und die Gamescom öffnet ihre Pforten. Ich werde der Messe sicher erneut fernbleiben. Einfach zu viele Leute, zu lange Schlangen bei den Ständen und einfach auch die Tatsache das man sich als "alter Mann" da zunehmen fehl am Platz fühlt. Natürlich werde ich aber der Berichterstattung folgen und mir am 19. August 2025 um 20:00 Uhr die "Opening Night" per Stream anschauen. Aber wer ist denn überhaupt und mit welchen Spielen auf der Messe vertreten? Ich habe mal recherchiert und eine kleine Liste zusammengestellt:

Traurige Nachricht: Die Gamescom Tickets für Samstag sind ausverkauft. Zum Glück bleibe ich daheim und muss mich nicht durch volle und warme Hallen quetschen. Zudem sind da Eis, kühle Getränke und Essen wesentlich billiger.

Hier, Eric auf der Gamescom. Wer mich findet bekommt 5,00 € Das ist doch der reinste Irrsinn, ich will nicht wissen wie voll es am Samstag wird.

Nun, ich hatte jetzt 8 Jahre ein Profilbild aus Anno 1800 dessen Ära ja nun *leider* zu ende geht. Jetzt beginnt die Ära von Anno 117: Pax Romana demzufolge habe ich mein Profilbild und auch den Hintergrund meines Profil heute angepasst. Auch wenn ich hier und da das Spiel in einigen Punkten kritisiere werden mit Sicherheit wieder etliche Spielstunden zusammenkommen.

Genau dies ist das Problem der Gamescom geworden. In den Jahren 2009 bis 2016 war es zwar voll und auch laut, aber es war noch eine Gaming Messe. Im Jahre 2017 war die "Führungsriege" des Spielerheims zum Fachbesuchertag. Da war es zwar auch schon voll, aber eben nicht überfüllt. Dies war richtig schön, da konnte man noch überall die Spiele anzocken. Im Jahre 2018/2019 war ich mit CRusko zum Fachbesuchertag, die Karten hatten wir unter der Hand bekommen. Zwar waren sie mit um die 65 € nicht ganz billig, aber die Hallen waren eben auch recht leer und man konnte entspannt durch die Hallen schlendern und überall Spiele anzocken. Dann kam Corona und dann war ich nicht mehr. Und nun hat die Gamescom echt an Niveau verloren. Wenn da irgendwelche Assi-Streamer welche eventuell noch nie ein Spiel ernsthaft gespielt haben, da rumlungern, tausend Leute denen hinterherrennen. Fachbesuchertag kann man auch nicht mehr gehen, mittlerweile verkauft die Köln-Messe da auch offiziell Karten für 65 € und dann darf man ab 13:00 Uhr auf die Messe. Aber auch da wird es sicher recht voll werden. Die ganzen "Influenzer" welche noch nie wirklich ein Spiel gespielt haben und deren "Content" auf Twitch nur aus irgendwelchen Assi-Mist besteht dürften erst gar nicht eingeladen werden. Ich werde sicher nie wieder auf die Gamescom gehen, einfach zu voll, zu laut und vom Niveau her zu unterirdisch. Da schaue ich lieber daheim Streams von Steinwallen oder WiritingBull das hat noch Substanz und Niveau. Ich finde es traurig was aus der Messe geworden ist.

Was SSIO und andere Rapper dazusuchen haben frag ich mich auch. Da sollten die lieber ein Full Orchestra auf die Bühne holen, was beliebte Gaming-Sountracks spielen (wie beispielsweise Ezio's Familiy von Assasins Creed).

Sabbaton hat auch Musik für "World of Tanks" , "World of Warships" und eben auch für "Hearts of Iron IV" spendiert und hat somit wesentlich mehr mit Gaming zu tun.
